A very special guitar strap is completed! Vegetable tanned, carved and tooled leather is reinforced at the ends with real alligator inserts. The strap is lined with chromtan leather, hand stitched using the 1.2 mm braided thread and the saddle stitch technique. The carving and coloring is protected with Aussie wax, melted and set into leather with a flame.
There are 2 personal and one CSCL (Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft) stamps imprinted on the strap. The CSCL stamps were made in 1957. Eugene Pik received his CSCL stamp in 2017.
