The magic box, Received “Best in Show” award at CSCL 2015 annual event

This magic box looks like a leather cube without any visible lock, cover or any opening or moving elements. Only those who know the code and the way to use it would be able to unlock and open the box. A steel frame is covered by the carved leather outside and soft deerskin inside to prevent damage of the items stored in the box.

A Celtic “Tree of Life” with a number of falling leaves marks each side (similar to a dice). To unlock and open, you’d need to know the code and turn each number up in the sequence.

A micro controller and an accelerometer are used to measure the direction of the gravitation and to compare the code to one saved in their memory
